Digital Animation
Animation showing amniocentesis, Flash, 2000.
As an illustrator/animator for Medical Training Services of the UW, I created a number of animations using 3d Studio Max and Adobe Premiere. At right is a frame from an animation showing one route of fungal infection. The animation that I learned the most from was that of mold development. View the AVI. 2000.
Interactive animation showing the effects of altitude on various body organs. I created this stomach to match the style of the surrounding artwork, and I completed the interactivity. Flash, 2002.

This Wheel of fortune game is another prototype; it's fun to play. Start off by pulling the handle. I created this for Microsoft press, to explore the different types of FUNctionality that could be added to their tutorials. 2001.

I created this Flash map jigsaw puzzle of the US to work on my Actionscripting skills, including timing actions, and interactivity. An elementary school teacher used it in her class, and the kids had fun with it! 2002.

I worked in a prototype (concept) team in Microsoft Press as a contract Multimedia Author. I created this Drag-able server setup tutorial to explore our options for spicing up our tutorials. In this piece, you can scroll back and forth along the timeline, or let it play out.
