Anatomic Illustration

Anatomic illustration is a medical endeavor as well as an artistic one. In order to properly portray anatomy, the artist must understand, through background or research, the underlying anatomic principles and organization, as well as the information which the client wishes to portray. The artist must also have a grasp of the rendering techniques and the artistic principles of form, color and composition.

Top Left: "Path of infection" educational animation. I story-boarded this animation, modeled various elements, and animated the animation. Finally, I worked with a physician to develop a narrative and added a sound track to the animation. I created numerous animations and illustrations for this project. Mycology TUTOR, 2000.
