  1. Illustrated anatomical and medical device and procedure content for LopoSonix fundraising presentations (during which they raised over 26M). 2003-2004
  2. Medical Illustrator for Medical Genetics Department, UW (PT). Illustrations and PowerPoint presentations were used in lectures including regular classes, seminars and a key note speech, and published in medical journals. January 2003 – December 2003
  3. Illustrated medical and scientific content for Rexagen. Illustrations and PPT presentations were used in fundraising and patent applications. 2002 – 2003
  4. Animated and re-worked medical tutorials in Flash. The tutorials were used in a CD and web classes for aviation professionals. Marocom Media Group, 2002
  5. Created 3d Medical Illustrations for slides, posters and a brochure which were shown at a world conference of heart specialists. Immunex, 2000-2001.

  1. Managed graphics pass for PowerPoint slides to insure that they meet our graphic standards, managing vendors and coordinating with internal staff
    1. Act as graphics contact person for MS ILT
    2. Worked on ILT PowerPoint decks for 21 courses (as of 8/04)
    3. Worked in a small team to give our ILT PPT guidelines a graphics pass, to make it easier for authors and graphics vendors to use and understand. I also created a new guideline/template for the introduction module, so that the course introductions would be in line with our guidelines.
  2. Act as resource for four MS groups (MS Cert, ILT, eLearning and MS Press)
  3. Worked with the Cert team to develop a process for creating graphics. This is a task that the Content Development Managers started a few years ago and then dropped; When I started they had no process for creating graphics, and no graphics resource. There is now a defined process in their help tool
    1. I attended an Item Writer Workshops (Cert) to give a Visio lesson to their technical writers, and used the information I gathered to develop a tutorial guide for the writers
    2. I worked with a Cert Content Development Editor (CDE) to create a unified Visio template which links two new stencils, so that there is now one clean and clear place to go for graphics templates.
    3. I worked on a small team with a Cert Content Development Manager and a Technical Editor to define what a graphics pass would consist of (amount of time allotted in the schedule and tasks involved), document this information and roll it out to the group
    4. Made a successful graphics pass on 4 exams (as of 8/04)
  4. Act as resource for animation creation. Created one 10 minute Flash animation (as of 8/04)
