| News About biomedical-illustration.com
At some point the informational part of this site took over and I decided to moved my portfolio elsewhere. (If you are here looking for my portfolio, here is my fine art portfolio, and here is my scientific illustration portfolio.) This is a web site is now for aspiring medical illustrators and scientific illustrators. There is information about where to go to school, how to train yourself if you so desire. There is an area for artists to promote themselves, and information about different organizations for illustrators and other artists. And there is information for illustrators who are ready to work: information about how to freelance and where to get jobs. There is information in the education section about the schools that offer certificates in scientific illustration, and the schools that offer masters degrees in medical illustration. They’re not all the same, so do some investigation. Find out what you will learn, what kinds of jobs their graduates have and how long it took them to get those jobs. If you have come here for information about scientific or medical illustration, how to promote yourself, where to go to school, or how to select an artist for your project, you're in the right place! I hope this site helps you in your endeavors. Work from home. |
